Handmade With Love

I made these 3 separate bouquets for myself as test runs and because I wanted them!

I was watching Martha Stewart one afternoon last year and she did an episode on tissue paper flowers.  When I saw the preview, I was shocked at how pretty they were and how fairly real they looked, unlike those cheesy pom pom looking things you see.  So I went to her site and checked it out.

I was impressed at how inexpensive and easy this was to do.  Go to your local Dollar Store to buy pretty much all the supplies.  (Tissue paper, pipe cleaners, small wire and glue for leaves/stems & floral tape)

Something to think about, if you are feeling crafty, to create and give to a loved one.  Guaranteed they will shed a tear knowing the time and effort you put into making them something special.

My Sister and I did up a bouquet for our Mom for Mother’s Day and my Hubby did up a small one for his Mom. We had fun using designs of real flowers as well as making up our own unique creations.

The one thing I love about these is the assortment of colors you can choose from and combine together.  You can match anyone’s home decor, be as funky or as conservative as you wish.
